4.1 Earthquake Shakes South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee

A 4.1 earthquake struck in South Carolina Friday night.

The quake was centered near Edgefield, Sotuh Carolina.

It was felt throughout South Carolina and Georgia, as well as parts of Tennessee

No reports of serious damage or injuries were reported.

911 was flooded with calls of frightened people reporting explosions and plane crashes, after they heard and felt the earth rumbling.

Of main concern was Plant Vogtle, a nuclear power plant in Waynesboro, Georgia, and various dams throughout the region.

Engineers were investigating for any structural damage.
