Tens of thousand of people peacefully protested in Bahrain, on Saturday.
Friday saw smaller protests, that turned violent, and were forced to end by police.
A police officer was killed, several more police and dozens of protesters injured, and twenty-six were arrested in the violence.
They marked the third anniversary of an attempted revolution, by Shiite Muslims.
The revolt was stopped only by the intervention of troops from Saudi Arabia.
Shiites accuse the Sunni government of oppressing them.
