100 Days of Heat Arrests up Forty Percent

The Colorado State Patrol is feeling pretty good about the success of their 100 Days of Heat campaign.

It's goal is to end drunk driving, with officers emphasizing looking out for it and stopping those who are.

With a 3.2% increase in drivers on the road, arrests were up nearly forty percent, and accidents involving impaired drivers were down almost thirteen percent.

Police know that they can't stop everyone from driving and drinking, but they're hope is to catch any who do, before they hurt someone.
