In Karbala, a car bomb killed five and injured twenty-five.
A car bomb in Kut killed two and injured fourteen.
Suwayrah was struck by four car bombings, leaving seven dead and thirty-one injured.
Four people were kidnapped and executed, in Yusufiyah.
No one claimed responsibility for any of the attacks.
Due to the targeting of Sunnis and the methods used, Al Qaeda is considered the likely suspect.
