It happened on Highway 82, near Carbondale.
Witnesses say that the bus came up on a slow moving tractor and veered to avoid crashing into it.
However, the driver lost control, causing the bus to skid and land on it's side.
The accident shutdown the highway for several hours.
An investigation is underway to determine if the bus driver was going too fast.
