Major Storm Impacts the UK

Storm warnings cover the United Kingdom as a major storm strikes.

With winds up to eighty miles per hour the storm began hitting on Sunday and will continue through Monday.

A fourteen year old boy was swept into the sea, in East Sussex, and the winds are hampering efforts to search for him.

Dozens of trees have been knocked down, blocking roads and joining the winds in causing damage to buildings and cars.

The storm is also bringing rains and worries about flooding.

Several train services and bridges are closed, during the storm, and commuters are being warned that Monday's travels will be difficult.

Airlines cancelled some flights ahead of time and warned that many others will be delayed.
