A ferry in Indonesia struck a tanker that was carrying liquefied natural gas.
Over two hundred people and seventy vehicles were aboard the ferry.
Eight people are confirmed dead, and rescuers are continuing to search for the missing.
Officials are inspecting the tanker, to ensure that it was not damaged in the collision.
With over seventeen thousand islands, making up the country of more than two hundred and forty million, ferries are an extremely common form of transportation.
Unfortunately lax safety measures and over crowding make accidents quite common.
