Mexican Military Clashes With Drug Gang

Mexican military troops engaged in a firefight with a drug gang, in Southern Mexico, Wednesday afternoon.

The gang had apparently been keeping two people hostage and the military went in to rescue them.

One soldier and ten gang members were killed in the violence, while both hostages were wounded.

Afterwards, federal police confiscated drugs, weapons, and vehicles from the scene.
