Hundreds of Afghan Troops Fired

Afghanistan has announced that they have removed hundreds of troops from service.

Most of them have been detained and are under investigation.

The move was made after many allied troops were attacked, wounded, and killed by Afghan soldiers.

General Zahir Azimi, a spokesperson for the Defense Ministry, said that Afghanistan wished the world to know that it "is a big concern for the Afghan president and the Afghan Defense Ministry."

The US has already stopped training Afghan police and soldiers, and ordered their own troops to carry weapons at all times.

Since 2007, 114 people have been killed in seventy-six attacks of this nature. Thirty-five of the attacks have killed forty-five so far in 2012.
