13 Boys Killed in Fire in Myanmar

Thirteen boys were killed early Monday morning, when a fire broke out in their dormitory.

The dormitory was located in a mosque compound in Yangon, Myanmar.

At least seventy boys are housed in the building.

Firefighters had to break the front door down, to rescue the other boys, as it was double locked.

Officials are investigating whether or not the imam, and others in charge of the mosque, should be held criminally responsible for the deaths.

Some people are worried that the fire was set purposefully, as part of the recent violence.

However, fire officials stated that it was sparked by a transformer which overheated.
