A suicide bomber riding a motorcycle detonated his vest near a vehicle carrying a leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.

Pakistan's election, which is to be held on May 11, is the first ever transition between civilian governments and the Taliban has declared it to be "un-Islamic".
